Quite agree. I think it's disgraceful to get rid of a loyal club servant and ambassador like Mick Cunningham.

The sooner our Russian friends make Edmund and his family redundant from AFCB the better.

Mitchell and his cronies have taken a great deal out, whether directly or indirectly, and by all accounts put zip back in. A great deal of building works, that could quite easily of waited until we actually gained promotion as a for instance, it just never fitted into his own business cash flow I suspect, not to mention the fact his son is laughingly our Director of Football. I've always been unhappy with Maxim's loans, as it seems we're being charged 6% interest. So it probably is a recipe for disaster as most of us suspect, we just live in the hope it all works out for the best, but we're not hiding from the fact we could do a Pompey. I have said, and even on your sites, I'm not being smug about our possible riches, because my heads not buried in our beach either. But when a guy like Mick Cunningham, ho many of us actually know the good he's done and gets the push it smells worse than a blocked sewer....

Hi Pete,

It may be there is no problem but we were oblivious of the Black pull out until it happened.

The actions seem very strange particular the one too get rid of someone who is so obviously respected by everyone, not the way to make friends.

I hope it is all okay in the end as no football fan really wants to see a club go to the wall. But I would question Mitchell's motives.

so your spending the same money as before? Think you might find thats the reason Swindon were in such debt before!! to much going out not enough coming in. I am amazed at how many people now maxim wants out as i am sure these are discussions between him and em! I think if he was on his way out, we would see a lot more players going out on loan to curb the wage bill, not lose a photographer!

Well I don't think we're anywhere near falling apart, it's only some of our usual doom and gloom merchants reading more into it than there actually is. I like many others, never listened to those trying to tell us about Mitchell to begin with, but we've since learnt some home truths, Mitchell only seems in it for Mitchell, not unlike many running clubs I have to say. My anger, is the club has lost it's identity as being "Our" club, and the final nail is getting rid of a guy who has given way and above the call of duty to the club. There are some people who are outstanding supporters of AFCB, but Mick even surpasses them IMHO. Still, you lot are back on an even keel, we just need to BOTH get promotion, would be ideal if Yeovil were there as well.... UTCIMD

Can't get to many away games due to kids football on a Saturday morning but had hoped to go to the original MKDons game. Because they got through in the cup it was postponed :-(

Similar with Yeovil, switched to Tuesday evening to be shown on Sky.

There seems to be a top of the table curse at the moment which might mean it is a good time to play Doncaster :-)

We battered them but their keeper made 4/5 outstanding saves and an unfortunate own goal (their only effort on target I think) meant we only came away with a point.

With Stevenage doing the business as well tonight it is certainly making for an exciting season !

We put a big dent in one of the hopefuls last week-end and hopefully will do again this Saturday to make it a 7 horse race.

Unless someone goes mad, it looks like it could go down to the wire with two very interesting matches on that last week-end. I'm sure you know yours but Brentford/Donny as well !!!

Firstly, maybe you could re-read my post - the request I made was that some of your so-called fans would refrain from coming onto our site, gloating, swearing and generally being abusive - as has happened since our owner troubles / embargo etc commenced a couple of months ago, but now you are basically making the comment that we refrain from doing exactly what I requested from yourselves in the first place????
Dishing it out and taking it springs to mind???

PS - you will see from my username that I live in Bournemouth and stated that I hope the club is OK - hardly getting "wet" in my "undercrackers" now is it?

Doesn't help when Afcb fans go on other websites to mouth off...just wish Swindon fans would post more intelligent insults!

Think Swindon have got an excellent manager now, highly regarded, so boosted by a late win Saturday should stay in the frame now. Wouldn't bet against any one on the top eight at the moment. Quite fancy beating MK dons in play off semi and then Swindon at wembley!
