Superb signing. It is great news that he can play either side. We have a couple of players who can play on the right wing but no real cover if Pugh is unavailable. We clearly missed him while he was sat on the bench at the start of the last game! Now we can play Pugh and Fraser (watch out league 1 defenders) and also have another player that can cover the left side if required. That extra depth in the squad could be vital at the end of the season when nightly little injuries start to hit the squad at the end of a long hard fought season. I wonder if Eddie will switch wingers from side to side during the match to unsettle the defence as they can both play either side? I seem to remember this being effective when Pugh and Feeney were the wingers. Can't wait to see what happens.

Couldnt care less what happens at St Marys . Sorry and I am sure Southampton Supporters are interested but most Bournemouth Supporters are only interested in what happens at the Club they support . This looks like a good signing and at least we got Seabourne before they sacked their Manager

Great couple of signings, both are future stars who can play at our level now, Jalal will feel under threat and I can see Ryan on the wing sooner rather than later so Josh who was poor Tuesday night will be fighting for his place, my only concern is the size of this squad and the money we are spending, I hope this all works out or we could be the headlines that Swindon have been this week!! With 4 goalkeepers now, and 3 out of contract, I predict one of Jalal or James will be given a new contract and the other + Flahavan will leave. It will also be interesting to see how soon Allsop is put in the first team with James playing well.

With the Fraser signing, I think he will be a good player, but what does it say for McQuoid, Fogden and mostly McDermott? With Pugh holding the LM position, these 4 are fighting for one place. I predict McDermott may be ousted from his position on the bench, possibly making him available for transfer

Jalal still has another year on his contract I believe. Flaphaven is obviously on his way out. The question mark then hangs over James who is starting... curious. I would imagine that James will either retire or have one last hurrah in the Championship.

Regarding Jalal a good keeper who has served AFCB well but Eddie looking to the future - expect to see him and Flav gone before next season and James winding down

Where does the signing of Ryan Allsop leave Jalal, Buchel and Flahaven? On their way out I suspect.

As for the news of Adkins being sacked by Stains it doesn't surprise me. Even though he did an amazing job getting them promoted he's a lower league manager and way out of his depth at Premier League level as we've seen with their poor campaign to date and the poor signings he's made. Rodrigues and Ramirez have been hopeless (and that's from my partners boy who's a Stains fan!)

Last time I looked at the definition of 'freedom of speech' people were able to express their opinion on anything and people had the choice of take it or leave it. So I find it somewhat puzzling the way some posters are treating 'edge end bob' who unlike some other Saints supporters, has been very supportive of AFCB in his comments.

Why it is necessary to be so aggressive against a fellow football supporter expressing a positive view and being complimentary?

All i wanted to say was a well done with your new signings. But if you have not got Bournemouth tattooed on your forehead, some people resort to name calling.which i might add just bounce's off. It seems fans from different clubs must be at war, sad.

Hedge End Bob, I for one consider it a complement that a supporter from another club should take the trouble to air their views on this website. I hesitate to call it our site as it is open to comments from anyone, even the Neanderthal who invited you to depart. He does this site, and the club in general, no credit. If he can't say something constructive perhaps keeping silent would cause him less embarrassment and demonstrate he may have qualities other than those associated with pre history.

As for the new players maybe they are something of an unknown quantity, however,in the case of Ryan Fraser there are two other young and almost untried wingers who may be compared and contrasted with Ryan. Tom Ince is one, a young winger playing for Blackpool and the other, much closer in age and experience to Ryan is Raheem Sterling of Liverpool. What a prospect we have gained should he turn out to be as good or even (glass half full) better that either of the other two. Looking forward to watching the new signings develop under Eddie's stewardship.

I feel sorry for Nigel Adkins but as they say football is a result driven industry. How much better he could have done is difficult to see. Two promotions and just started to steady the ship then out the door. Just hope for the supporters sake things turn out for you

Agreed. Sort of response you'd expect from a 12 year old.

This signing sounds very exciting. Attack attack attack from all areas of the pitch. We never really replaced Feeney so this guy sounds just right. McDermott wasted his chance, so much promise but faded, great shame. Busy week for the club and we seem to be going from strength to strength, lets hope our debts are not spiralling out of control. Up the cherries!

What a prospect we have gained should he turn out to be as good or even (glass half full) better that either of the other two. Looking forward to watching the new signings develop under Eddie's stewardship.

I feel sorry for Nigel Adkins but as they say football is a result driven industry. How much better he could have done is difficult to see. Two promotions and just started to steady the ship then out the door. Just hope for the supporters sake things turn out for you

One last try to explain the confusion. One or two AFCB fans posted on the Saints site about the sacking of N ADKINS and they could see no reason for it . I was only agreeing with them and use the sacking made by our Chairman to have as much sense as if your CHAIRMAN had come out and sacked your manager.
My post on your site was only to say well done in the transfer market and i hope they would help you get promoted.

Quite frankly Bob I don't see how THIS particular post has anything to do with Adkins getting sacked, and I would say that's why the comment was made. This post is about the signing of two tremendous prospects, one in particular could turn out the best signing since Ted Mac/Boyer. Was just reading about your club, as i always do, when i came across posts about my club. I was merly pointing out that the people that dont care about other clubs will soon welcome players from clubs they say they dont care about.
I also wished to thank fans like yourself that have posted on our site without calling us names but seemed to be supportive of the general views of the clubs fans view. I only used the sacking of Nigel and your manager to express how stupid the deed was,. Sorry for any confussion i may of caused , it was not intended.

Hedge End Bob, I for one consider it a complement that a supporter from another club should take the trouble to air their views on this website. I hesitate to call it our site as it is open to comments from anyone, even the Neanderthal who invited you to depart. He does this site, and the club in general, no credit. If he can't say something constructive perhaps keeping silent would cause him less embarrassment and demonstrate he may have qualities other than those associated with pre history.

As for the new players maybe they are something of an unknown quantity, however,in the case of Ryan Fraser there are two other young and almost untried wingers who may be compared and contrasted with Ryan.
