Cherries boss Eddie Howe said: “It is a really good match up and they have been on a terrific run. They have scored a number of goals and haven’t conceded many either so their record is up there as one of the best in the league. They are on a really good run and so are we. It is set up to be a good game between two good teams."

Robins boss Paolo di Canio said: “They’ve had, including the cups, something like 14 good results in a row. In some way they look like us last year when we came from a good run. They have a very high confidence, there is a very solid team, it is clear that the manager handled this group. In some way they play similar to us, very attacking with the two full-backs pushing very high.
"They use the wide areas very well so they’re very similar but if we play with the determination we have to in the first two games then we can damage them and we can be the first team in a few weeks that hurts them in a good way.”

Robins midfielder Simon Ferry said: "Both teams are on a good run and you'd fancy both of us to be up there at the end of the season.
"They've changed a lot [since Swindon's 4-0 win in September] but we're still looking to keep our run going.
"We want to go there and get another win."

Cherries midfielder Harry Arter said: "As you have seen in their past four games, they punished teams if they were not at it.
“We have to make sure we have a good start. Training has been good this week and the lads have been on it."

Arguably the beginning of the end for beleaguered Paul Groves, Cherries were handed a 4-0 thumping by the hosts.
One-time Cherries transfer target Matt Ritchie scored twice and there were goals from Adam Rooney and Andy Williams as Groves's men limped back to Dorset with their tails between their legs.
