STAR siblings Grace and Piers Copeland are on course to win their respective Poole and East Dorset Cross-Country League laurels.
The county runners both won their races at the penultimate meeting hosted by Baden-Powell and St Peter’s Church of England Middle School.
Grace, running for St Michael’s Middle School, clocked 9.07 on the St Aldhelm’s Academy course – 43 seconds ahead of her nearest rival in the Year 6-7 girls race.
Her brother Piers, meanwhile, won the Year 8-9 boys race in 7.58.
The fourth and final meeting is at Ferndown Upper School next Tuesday.
