WITH so much excitement in Bournemouth this summer it’s hard to imagine how you can find even more entertainment for the entire family.

But bosses at the Bournemouth International Centre have got it just right with the exhilarating Kyran Bracken’s Ice Party.

The dazzling show has something for everyone ranging from highly technical professional skaters to well-known celebrity performers, singers and circus-style acts.

A late start on the opening night due to the air festival road closures did nothing to dampen the enthusiasm of the near sell-out crowd as they were enthralled by sparkling costumes, an impressive set and an all star line-up, including Bournemouth-born heart-throb and Blue singer Duncan James.

After winning ITV1’s Dancing on Ice in 2007, former England rugby international Kyran Bracken set about putting the show together, directed by former Olympic champion and Dancing on Ice head judge Robin Cousins.

Investigative journalist Donal MacIntyre and actress Clare Buckfield showed they haven’t lost their touch but it was ex-Hollyoaks star Chris Fountain who stole the show with his powerful skating and stunning dance moves.

Professionals from the show included Mel and Fred, Matt and Kristina, Frankie and the ever-popular Daniel.

But there was more to come including amazing moves from professionals Alexandra Schauman and Lukasz Rozyck and the hilarious Medini brothers.

The crowd was involved in the fun from the beginning, with two lucky people even winning skating classes with the stars.

I can’t recommend this show highly enough for good old-fashioned family entertainment so be quick – it’s only here until September 5.
