Mary always dreamed of being a horse by Ros Morgan. Ros says: This cow stood for the hour I was there, just shifting her feet occassionally; she reminded me of Mary the cow on the adverts who wants to be a horse. I havn't been to Whitten Pond for a considerable time; this is usually a winter haunt of mine. The feeder streams seem to have dried up and it is scary to see how the water level is dropping.
