HUNDREDS of cyclists took part in the annual Macmillan Dorset Bike Ride on Sunday.
The popular event is now in its 29th year.
Around 700 riders headed off from the Corfe Mullen recreation ground on a number of different routes, including 100, 60, 48, 38, 25 and 10 miles.
Organiser, Peter Smith-Nicholls, said: “We have had great day. We had about 100 riders sign up on the day which was great. The weather brought them out."
The oldest participant was 83-year-old Gerry Robinson, a stalwart of the event. There were lots of youngsters involved too.
Peter added: "We have received some fantastic support from Sunseeker International and all of our sponsors this year so all the money raised in entry fees, donations and sponsorship will go to support people living with cancer."
