THERE’S just over a week to go until Bestival 2017, and the Daily Echo has 50 pairs of tickets to give away in an exclusive reader competition.

For the first time the festival has moved from the Isle of Wight to Lulworth Castle from September 7 to September 10.

The 2017 line up includes The xx on the main Castle Stage, with ‘hip-hop heroes’, A Tribe Called Quest, playing their last UK show to headline on the Saturday.

Singer Jamie T will be headlining the second stage, The Box, on Thursday night. Other acts set for the Castle Stage include Justice, Dizzee Rascal, and Soul II Soul. Electronic pop duo, Pet Shop Boys, will wrap up the proceedings on Sunday.

There will also be DJ sets from Annie Mac and Andy C when Radio I ends its, Summer of Festivals, at Bestival on the opening night, Thursday, September 7.

Annie will also be the first person to set off the world’s biggest confetti cannon during her set.

Organiser Rob da Bank says: “I’m so delighted Radio 1 are back at Bestival. Having been a DJ on the station for 12 amazing years and being part of that family, I can’t wait to get Annie and the gang onto Temple and watch them blast off live on Radio 1!”

Annie Mac added: “I’m really excited to be bringing my radio show to join the madness at Bestival for the first time, along with some great live performances and DJs. I’m honoured that I’m being allowed to claim the confetti cannon world record glory, as long as someone else does the sweeping!”
