THE FINALISTS of this year's Pet Selfies competition have been selected.
Celebrating the nation's love of pets, the Daily Echo teamed up with Link Homes earlier this year to give readers the chance to win some great prizes with the help of their beloved pets.
Dogs, cats and even the odd turtle posed for the cameras with their owners seeing hundreds of pet selfies submitted to the Echo.
In fact it was the highest number of entries the Daily Echo has ever received for the competition with around 700 entrants.

They included rabbits, lizards, horses and even cows.
A gallery set up for readers saw around 200,000 page views.
Now 12 finalists have been chosen by the public and the winners will be announced on Friday after a panel of judges reviews the final entrants.
First prize is £200, second is £100 and third is £50.
