EIGHT lucky Daily Echo readers will have the chance to get up close and personal with Hollywood star Idris Elba this Bank Holiday weekend.
The talented actor and musician has agreed to perform a DJ set at Halo on Sunday as part of the town centre club's fourth birthday celebrations.
Earlier this week the Daily Echo ran an exclusive competition to win four pairs of VIP tickets worth £25 each and was inundated with entries.
The lucky winners will have fast track VIP access to the venue and upstairs VIP balcony plus the best views of the man himself.
The winners are: Julie Morris, Joy Hicks, Alison Palmer and Phil Stanley-Watts.
Club owner Ty Temel told the Echo: "We celebrate turning four years old with probably our biggest booking to date, Mr Luther, Hollywood 'go to' actor, and star of The Wire, Idris Elba.
"Proving himself a very adept DJ, having played all over Ibiza 2016 and our sister club Switch very recently, he will be hosting and headlining a defining moment in the Church this April. This really, really, really is a night not to be missed!"
