MOTORISTS are being advised of even more disruptions on the conurbation's roads, as planned waterworks shut down a busy junction this weekend.
The closure takes place on Ringwood Road (A348), which will shut with the junction of Christchurch Road (B3073) at Longham, on Sunday and Monday.
Motorists, already suffering lengthy delays because of the start of the £22million Spur Road rebuild, will be diverted through Ferndown along Christchurch Road and New Road (A347).
The closure, for 'essential maintenance work' takes place from 8am on the Sunday, with the road scheduled to reopen on Monday evening.
Sharnine Coleman, from Bournemouth Water, said: "We are sorry for the disruption this may cause. Our staff on site will be happy to keep local residents and businesses informed and will try to address any concerns or requirements they may have in relation to our works."
