PART of one of Poole’s busiest roads will be closed in both directions for most of tomorrow.
Blandford Road will be shut between Beccles Close and Rigler Road from 7.30am-6pm for resurfacing.
The work is part of improvements to Blandford Road worth around £840,000, which are being carried out in two phases either side of Christmas.
Borough of Poole workers are currently in the middle of a two-week programme to resurface the road and improve cycling facilities.
More full closures of Blandford Road, from Rigler Road to the port, are planned on Sunday January 7 and 14, from 7.30am-6pm.
The main diversion route will be along the A350 Holes Bay Road. Diversions will be signposted and pedestrians will still have full access to Blandford Road.
