FIVE days of roadworks will start at a busy junction in Christchurch from today.
The works at the traffic lights of Stour Road and Barrack Road are scheduled to be completed on Friday.
A section of Stour Road will be closed and a number of turning restrictions will be put in place at the junction.
The works are so Bournemouth Water can locate and repair a water main.
A signposted diversion route via Barrack Road, B3073 Bargates and Stour Road will be in place.
Stour Road will be closed in both directions from its northern junction with Barrack Road to approximately outside house number 26.
There will be no left turn from Barrack Road westbound onto the south section of Stour Road.
Traffic heading eastbound on Barrack Road will not be able to turn onto the south or north section of Stour Road.
From Stour Road south traffic will only be able to turn left.
Lane closures will be in operation on each direction of Barrack Road.
