A MAN was flown to hospital with serious injuries following a two-vehicle crash in Ringwood Road this morning.
The road in Bisterne was closed in both directions while emergency services dealt with the crash.
The collision, involving a Volkswagen Polo with a male driver and a BMW with a female driver, happened near the entrance to the Stable Family Home Trust.
An occupant of one vehicle also had to be removed from their car by firefighters after the incident at 8.01am.
The female driver of the BMW was taken to Poole Hospital for treatment, while the driver of the VW Polo was flown to Southampton General Hospital by the Thames Valley Air Ambulance.

She added that the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance crew were not on shift when the incident was called into them at 7.54am. The crew were launched to head to the scene at 8am.
A police officer at the scene said the injuries were serious but not life-threatening.
