There are delays on the M27 and A31 eastbound this morning after a car collided with the central reservation.
The crash took place just before 6am just after the Cadnam junction and initially shut three lanes of the motorway.
With debris across the width of the road motorists were forced to use the hard shoulder to get past.
Two lanes of the motorway remain blocked and traffic is now tailing back up Castle Malwood Hill past Stoney Cross.
Emergency services are in attendance but it is unclear if there are any injuries.
