A Twitter account claims it will be hiding bundles of cash around London in a similar social media frenzy to one witnessed by San Francisco.
The account @LDNHiddenCash is apparently inspired by an American do-gooder who has been sending Los Angeles and San Francisco residents on a treasure hunt.
City dwellers have been finding $100 cash bundles behind bins and fire extinguishers.
@LDNHiddenCash recently tweeted: “We’ll be hiding small cash packages at well known London locations during the month of June. Each will have 2 clues. Nice and easy!”
They claim the first drop is today and that they will use the hashtag #HiddenCashLondon.
