The lions are coming to Bournemouth....
How does it work?
Local businesses sponsor a blank lion, work with an artist to decorate it and display it somewhere in Bournemouth.

There will be a 50-strong pride of lions scattered across the town from June 25 until September 3, 2011, - forming a trail for residents and tourists to follow. Click to download the trail map.
After ten weeks the lions will be auctioned off for charity. Proceeds will go to the Born Free Foundation and Julia's House.
Lions for schools
Every primary school in Bourmemouth will be offered a mini-Lion to decorate - they'll form part of the trail but will be returned to the schools at the end of the summer.
There are loads more details to follow, so bookmark this page and keep checking for pawprints....
