Schemes could prove a catalyst

HERE’S some positive news on the investment and jobs front.
A £50m cinema and restaurant scheme will take place on the former bus station site at Exeter Road in Bournemouth.
The developers say they hope work will start in the New Year. And that project could create 300 jobs.
There are also plans for a £25m marina at Poole Quay which could include a new visitor attraction.
These projects are much welcomed as the economy appears to be sluggish at best.
Let’s hope that any issues that may arise on either project can be overcome and the schemes can become a reality, further boosting business locally.
There are a number of other initiatives that just need a kick-start to get going.
Hopefully this news will prove to be the catalyst to see those schemes move forward and attract yet more business into the area.
