TO SEE Bournemouth seafront lit with hundreds of tiny tea lights in memory of loved ones is a moving sight.
As we draw ever closer to Christmas, the importance of family and friends seems more significant and for many of us we think of those we have loved and lost more often.
This event saw young and old come together in a poignant candlelit ceremony in front of Bournemouth Pier.
A spectacular fireworks display lit up the skies afterwards, lifting the spirits after a respectful minute’s silence.
Let’s hope this emotional and dignified event returns next year.
