IT was another marathon effort at the weekend.
Runners from as young as six got involved in the second Bournemouth Marathon Festival, which has quickly established itself in the town.
It has clearly become an immediate success with runners – professional and amateur, young and old.
And it is hoped that around £500,000 will be raised for charities through those who took part.
It is, along with events like the Bournemouth Air Festival and Wheels Festival, showing that the town’s at its best when the big events come along.
