Gazza wasting police time
PEOPLE often claim ‘high profile’ people get a different – as in better- service than the rest of us.
And those reading our story today on football legend Paul Gascoigne might agree with that.
Gazza dialled the emergency number 999 and police duly turned up to take him shopping at Tesco on Sandbanks Road.
Now imagine what would have happened if a member of the public were in that situation. Somehow I think the rest of us would have got a rather different response along the lines of don’t waste police time.
