HIT-and-run seemed to be the flavour of the weekend.

In Bournemouth, in the early hours of Sunday, a car repeatedly hit pedestrians and the driver then sped off from the scene abandoning the vehicle on the East Overcliff. Two people needed hospital treatment. Meanwhile, in Wales, three pensioners, two of them from Poole, are still receiving treatment after being knocked down after a meal out. When the drivers in both cases are eventually caught, as they will be, the public will, with the help of the media, see what particularly spineless individuals they are.
