YESTERDAY was a grim one on our roads.
The collision on the A31 claimed one life and left two other people injured.
It was, by any standards, a tragic start to the holiday season.
Drivers heading out this weekend are being warned to brace themselves for gridlocked roads. Nearly half of those holidaying in the UK will be heading south. The A31, A35 and the A338 are expected to be among the busiest routes in Hampshire and Dorset.
There is no shortage of road safety advice available. It is surely up to all of us to heed it.
