THERE was a lot of sound and fury but in the end, the disruption wasn’t that much to write home about.
Both sides in the public sector strike had their say and then went home.
Outside the BIC, protesters railed at the fact they are doing more for less, haven’t had a rise for years and are paying for the banking crisis out of their own pay cheques.
In Wimborne, Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg said the strikers were not justified in their actions and they had to look at economic reality.
Judging by the scale of publc sector cuts to come, there’s plenty more fuel left in this debate.
