WITH his boss, Michael Gove, embroiled in a row with the Home Secretary, Universities Minister, David Willetts was probably delighted to escape London for Bournemouth.

He came to help launch the university’s week-long Festival of Learning, featuring 150 free events for the public, showcasing the pioneering work of BU with its global reputation.

The festival is a great opportunity for local communities to see just what a leading institution it is.

And who better to appreciate what BU has to offer than the politician they call “Two Brains,” because he is rather brighter than most?
