IT has been six months since Christopher Colegate was killed.
He was crossing the road near his home in Poole, was struck by a car and left for dead. Though little has been said publicly in recent weeks, the investigation has been continuing.
Yesterday the reward for information was increased substantially and new details released of a car that police would like to trace. The family of Mr Colegate recognise that for anyone carrying guilt or knowledge of what happened, this will be a burden. But it will be as nothing compared with what they have suffered.
