IF they are looking for work when they come out of prison, Nicola Rogers and her husband Bryan could be a poster couple for the Department for Work and Pensions.

The pair stole £69,000 of taxpayers’ money by defrauding the benefits system, lounging around for six years, rousing themselves only to go on expensive holidays and shopping sprees.

They weren’t even bright enough to be discreet, instead boasting of their exploits on Facebook.

Now they have been exposed as common thieving cheats. They’ll be taken care of by HM Government for just a little longer.

Hopefully in rather less comfort.
