Bournemouth Echo: Not entirely chuffed to bits Not entirely chuffed to bits

COMMUNICATING in any organisation can be a challenge. And when you are making decisions, especially affecting public services and public money, poor communication can trip you up.

It may not be the biggest council contract in the world, but the Hengistbury Head land train is certainly a significant issue judging by the outcry.

The decision cannot be challenged apparently and some councillors were unaware of it until they read about it in the Echo.

Ok, it isn’t HS2, but you can’t help feeling that HH2 hasn’t been especially well handled by the Fat Controller, whoever he or she is.

They are accountable to the local people and the tourist these people work for us. Not the otherway round.

This is getting very boring now. Things move on….these people have made a lot of money out of us and now it’s time the council did. At least the council will put the money back into the local area…so therefore we all benefit.
