EVERY family who is able to bring home a healthy baby from hospital feels themselves blessed.
But that feeling must be all the more intense for the family of Elena Forder, who weighed just 1lb 5oz at birth last year and who has recently come home from neonatal intensive care.
It’s great that mum Sarah has told her story in order to help others going into a similar situation – and to give due praise to the NHS staff who have cared for Elena.
The story should make everyone feel blessed that we have the health care to make little miracles like this possible.
