IT’S reassuring to hear that Mehmet Yalcin, a brave shop assistant who was scratched with a hypodermic needle during a robbery, is okay.
It must have been a terrifying experience for the 29-year-old employee at the Mini Golden Supermarket in Winton, who had to go to hospital.
And it is shocking to consider this crime took place in Bournemouth in late afternoon.
We would urge Echo readers to thoroughly read the report on page five today and see if they can help police catch this offender.
