Time to do the right thing
EVERY Friday night is “unbearable” for the family of Christopher Colegate.
He was killed by a hit-and-run driver on Friday December 13 and time has stood still for his family since.
It is possible Friday nights are also unbearable for the driver who hit Mr Colegate and drove off. He or she would do better to come forward than wait for a knock at the door.
And Fridays may also be an ordeal for someone who knows, or suspects they know, the identity of that driver.
The words of Mr Colegate’s family should surely be all the persuasion they need to do the right thing.
