Look Out as you get about. That’s the message from transportation chiefs at Bournemouth, who are offering advice to cyclists and motorists about safety on the roads. But they are annoying some people in the process with their methods. Council staff are hanging what look like expensively produced yellow laminated triangles on vehicles parked in municipal car parks.

Judging by the number being dumped, they are not being especially well received. So the council is producing them, distributing them and picking them up again. Exactly how much sense does that make?
