WE make no apology for returning to the subject of Friday’s hit and run road death for the second day running.
Yesterday we reported the bald facts of the incident. That a 69-year-old man had been knocked over and killed by a driver who failed to stop.
Today that man has a name and a story, grandfather Christopher Colegate.
His family is shattered and his grandchildren do not understand why he is not there. Whoever killed him must know they did it.
If they have any decency, they will come forward now.
