HOW do you deter motorists from using a side road they shouldn’t be driving on?
Signs have already been put in place, but that hasn’t worked.
So Bournemouth council has installed cameras in Coach House Place – near Bournemouth Railway Station – to stop car drivers from using the road that is restricted to just buses, taxis and cyclists.
Already that move has netted the council around £100,000 and some people are far from happy about that.
But the simple truth is if you don’t use the road, then you won’t be fined.
