NUMBSKULLS who set fire to heathland obviously don’t realise the consequences of their actions.
They seem to believe that firefighters will attend the scene, put out the blaze and it won’t affect the service anywhere else.
As proved in Purbeck at the weekend, there is a knock-on effect.
Dorset Fire and Rescue Service (DFRS) was stretched coping with an arson attack on Studland Heath and trying to tackle a fire at flats in Swanage.
Fortunately, no one was hurt in the flats fire, but next time the victims may not be so lucky.
