CHANCES are that if you’ve driven through Poole today then you are discussing roadworks and how long it’s taken you to get to your destination.
There are works taking place on the Upton bypass and Blandford Road, Hamworthy and they are causing misery for many motorists trying to carry out their everyday business.
Sitting in a lengthy queue, then moving slowly and taking ages to travel what would normally be a simple, quick journey is immensely frustrating.
We wonder why this work has to be done at the same time.
But despite our annoyance, we know the work must be carried out.
Although there have been calls to delay the repairs and maintenance, it would be putting off the inevitable.
It is also arguably more frustrating to find work being done piecemeal.
Unfortunately it’s time to grin and bear it, unless you’re one of the lucky ones that can find alternative routes.
