Prime Minster Rishi Sunak has announced that he will be holding a press conference following the Illegal Migration Bill.
The PM shared the news on Twitter, saying: "I will be holding a Stop the Boats press conference today."
He also stated that the conference will give the public a chance to hear "how we’ll go further than ever before to tackle illegal migration."
The conference comes after Home Secretary Suella Braverman unveiled plans for new laws to curb Channel crossings.

The Home Secretary said the legislation would be introduced meaning asylum seekers will be detained and “swiftly removed” if they arrive in the UK through unauthorised means.
People crossing the Channel will not be able to claim asylum in the UK and will face a lifetime ban on returning after they are removed and they will never be allowed to settle in the country or gain citizenship.
