POOLE-based Sunseeker is hogging the limelight at the Southampton Boat Show this week with the ultimate gin palace.

At £11.5 million the Sunseeker 37 is the most expensive, luxurious yacht to grace the prestigious event.

Most of us would be horrified at a price tag of £800,000 - but that only buys the sound system on this floating mansion.

The yacht, called Tickled Pink, is 37 metres long and boasts three decks with five en-suite cabins.

The main deck houses a large lounge, complete with pop-up television screens. Bathrooms are also kitted out with flat screen TVs.

An impressive spiral staircase takes you to a huge saloon with a stylish dining area and another lounge.

But it is the sky deck that really sets this yacht apart from the rest with a sunken hot tub and special jets to spray the discerning sunbather with a fine mist of water to prevent over-heating while soaking up the rays.

Its state-of-the-art design means a crew of eight can move effortlessly around the vessel without disturbing guests.

So it's no surprise that it's drawing the crowds at the boat show, which runs until Sunday September 21.

Sunseeker is hosting an exclusive early evening cocktail party on board on each day of the show, to entertain the social and corporate elite.

Managing director David Lewis said: "The cocktail party is a chance for clients and prospective clients to see the exceptional craftsmanship and spaciousness of the interior of superb motor yachts at their leisure whilst experiencing the lifestyle benefits of being a Sunseeker owner."
