Power cut

DOZENS of homes are without power as Southern Electric battles to correct a fault.

Homes in the Maclean Road and Turbary Park Avenue areas of Bournemouth are likely to be subject to a power cut for at least two hours.

A spokeswoman said a problem with a cable to one property in Maclean Road just after midday means the power to around 25 homes has been turned off to ensure the safety of engineers.

"We would like to apologise to our customers for the loss of power and will do our best to rectify the situation as soon as possible" she added.
