Here are the lyrics:

"I wish we’d have gone to Monkey World

Can’t they dress a monkey up as an elf

Put a beard and a red suit on a chimpanzee

There’s your Santa Claus easy as can be

Instead of having reindeers in the snow

Stick some antlers on an orang-utan and there you go

I wish we’d have gone to monkey world instead of this place

I wish we’d have gone to Paulton’s Park It’s a hoot hoot and it’s not that far by car

They’ve got meerkat manor at Paulton’s park

They can look like huskies if you squint quite hard

I wish we’d have gone to Marwell Zoo

I don’t mind the smell of animal poo

I wish we’d have gone to Monkey World Instead of this place.

If you didn’t get to go you’ll be happy to know you didn’t miss much

The nativity scene wasn’t the best that I’ve seen, was it designed by dell boy?

I wish we’d have gone to monkey world

I like monkeys more than I like girls

I wish we’d have gone to monkey world instead of this place."

Just out of idol curiosity did Reeves Peterson actually go to see Lapland before using it as a publicity stunt? Also am I right in saying there was a VIP night prior to the opening for the media yet no one complained then. I went on Wednesday 3rd and though I would say it was over priced it was nowhere near as bad as it had been made out to be on the news the night before.
