THERE’S nothing Pam Bailey enjoys more than running around after her young grandson – two years ago she could barely even give him a cuddle.

For Pam, 62, a former Bournemouth primary school teacher, suffered with Fibromyalgia, a chronic condition causing widespread pain and profound fatigue.

“I was finding it hard to get up in the morning, my body would ache and I had really bad chest pains.

“I could not get through the day without a sleep after lunch, which limited family outings and seeing friends.

“I was also becoming intolerant to certain foods and suffering from really bad memory loss,” she explains.

“Being a teacher this was difficult as I would forget the children’s names, or if I was talking to a parent, I wouldn’t be able to remember who their child was.”

In September 1994, Pam was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, which according to her consultant is something that can’t be cured.

“I struggled on for two years and then eventually I couldn’t do it any more, it was impossible, so I retired.”

But 14 years later in November 2008 Pam read an article in the Daily Echo about the Lightning Process and how it had helped local practitioner Donna Paris to conquer ME.

“I rang Donna right away and asked if she thought it would work with Fibromyalgia,” says Pam. “I went on the three-day course and it completely cured my Fibromyalgia.

“Now I can get up in the morning and feel alert and awake for once.

“I am also able to re-introduce foods that before would make me ill and allergic.”

On the back of this success, Pam decided to see if it could also help with her Bi Polar Disorder, which she has suffered with for more than 30 years.

“I wouldn’t say that it is completely gone, but before when I could feel my depression coming on I would get scared and frightened.

“Now I feel more in control of the illness.”

Pam says that the Lightning Process which is a combination of different health therapies, has completely improved her life.

“Not many people at the age of 62 can say they feel better than they did at 50! All my friends think I look a lot better, and I certainly feel it.

“Before I was always thinking negatively but now I know that it’s positive thinking and outlook that makes you feel much more positive on the inside.”

Her practitioner Donna Paris, who is based at The Wimborne Clinic, says Pam is a shining example of how the program can help people return to full health - read more about Donna by clicking the Related Link below.

“It is a highly effective program that works with sufferers of Fibromyalgia, ME, Chronic Fatigue and similar conditions.

“We get to the root of the problem and sort it out once and for all by addressing the way our neurological patterns affect our physicalhealth.

“Our clients learn a simple technique which in applying it, enables them to get better rapidly. It’s a down-to-earth approach which is gaining much recognition amongst professionals in the medical field.”

Meanwhile Pam is now determined to make up for lost time with her grandson Max.

“He is now two years old and he is very, very special to me.

“When he was born I wasn’t able to hold him for long, because my body would just hurt. But now I am able to run around after him and interact with him, in ways I never would have thought possible before.”
