DESPICABLE doesn’t come anywhere near. A frail man in his 80s is followed home from the bank by someone who has obviously been keeping him under observation. When he nears his own front door, the pensioner is pushed to the ground and robbed of more than £2,000 he’d withdrawn to get his car fixed. From our story, you will see that the effect on the victim is as much, if not more, psychological than financial. He has been traumatised by a common thief. Which is why whoever did this will not be smiling when he too appears on the front page soon and is revealed for the lowlife he really is.
