DAVID Medina of Bournemouth said the green sports car driving along Bath Road in the picture of the Round House printed on March 10 is an Alvis Speed 20 vehicle which has a silver mascot on the front of the bonnet. The firm who made the car went out of business in the late 1960s and was bought out by Jaguar.
The blue car going in the opposite direction on Bath Road is a Riley 1.5 made by British Motor Corporation, later British Leyland.
The yellow or cream car behind, parked at the entrance of the hotel is a 1960 Mercedes Benz 190.
