As the Daily Echo gears up for the release of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, we want to hear from the original generation of Star Wars viewers.
Did you see George Lucas’s science fiction blockbuster on its first release at Bournemouth’s Gaumont, which began on February 9, 1978?
Or do you have vivid memories of seeing the sequels that completed the original trilogy, The Empire Strikes Back in 1980 and Return of the Jedi in 1983?
