Mrs Jean Willis (nee Coles ) who was born and brought up in Poole sent in an old snap of the family dog taken on Poole Quay. The landscape in the area has changed much over the years.
Prince was popular with residents and those visiting the quay. He often went to 'Tessies' Shop in nearby Stanley Road for treats. The picture was taken by a holidaymaker in 1962 and shows in the background Poole Gasworks and the conveyor that transported coal to the ships that berthed in the harbour.
