These youngsters certainly look the part of professional chefs in their smart white uniforms and tall hats.
They were pupils responsible for the catering at Beaufort School’s annual prize giving event in 1971.
Luckily an Echo photographer was there to take the memorable picture. How many of them pursued a career in cooking or fancy cuisine?
