ANIMAL rescue charity Margaret Green is trying to find forever homes for seven dogs and cats this week.

Six-year-old female Labrador, Mandisa, is looking for a home with eight-year-old male, Tinga. They love going for walks, especially on the beach. They are looking for an adult only home that can provide lots of tummy tickles.

Astro is a one-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He is described as happy and active and is looking for an experienced family to match his fun personality. Astro enjoys playing with other dogs, however, he would be best suited to an adult only home without other pets.

Honey is a six-year-old female Lurcher. She is enthusiastic and has a “real zest for life.” She really enjoys cuddles and attention and could live with teenage children but no cats. She would need to be the only dog.

Ten-year-old black and white cat, Milly, is very nervous and would need to be in a quiet, adult only home with no other pets.

Twinkle is a 10-year-old cat who’s looking for a rural home where she can be indoors if she wants. She would prefer to be the only cat, but might be able to live with a friendly dog.

Finally, there’s Hugo. A four-year-old black cat that should be fine to live with children but would need to be the only pet. He is described as “very outgoing and not much of a lap cat.”
