THESE dogs, cats and guinea pig are all in need of forever homes in Dorset.

Margaret Green Animal Rescue is hoping to find new homes for the rescue animals in its care this week.

Two-year-old Pointer Cross, Sam, is described as really playful with fellow doggy friends and could happily live with another dog. Sam would like a calm home and could live with teenage children but not cats.

Four-year-old Greyhound, Tom, loves meeting new people and making new friends. He would really like an adult only home without any cats but could live with another dog.

Tinka, a cheeky one-year-old Collie cross, can be nervous of new people and would like a patient home to bring out her confident, loving side. She would prefer to be the only dog in a pet free, adult only home.

James is described as a very active and outgoing 10-year-old cat who loves a fuss in small doses. He is previously from a rural home and is looking for something similar with no other pets.

Polo is a five-year-old domestic short hair cart who is described as a sweet girl but worried by fast movements. She loves a fuss and has been known to sit on laps. She would prefer to be the only pet in a quiet home.

Finally, Travis the guinea pig is four-weeks-old and looking for a home with one of his siblings or as a companion to a young male guinea pig. He has been described as very inquisitive and noisy around feeding time.
