CATS, dogs and rabbits are all in need of forever homes in Dorset.

Margaret Green Animal Rescue is hoping to find new homes for the rescue animals in its care this week.

Minnie is a three-year-old feline looking for a quiet forever home with no young children. She is a sweet girl, according to rescue staff, but can be a bit nervous when she first meets people. She should be ok to live with one other cat but would prefer not to live with a dog.

Oscar, seven, is a very sweet lad but he is still finding his feet at the moment so might be a bit nervous when he first meets someone. He would need a forever home with no other pets and would prefer to live with older children.

Leah, a one-year-old rabbit, is neutered and looking to be a companion for a neutered male rabbit of a similar size to her. She has had play dates with other rabbits in the past but hasn't lived with another rabbit.

Tinka is a cheeky one-year-old Collie cross. He can be quite nervous of new people and situations initially. He is looking for a patient home with the time and experience to build his confidence.

He would prefer a home without children, and although he gets on with the other dogs in the centre, he would prefer to be the only dog in the home.

Buzz is a four-year-old ex-racing greyhound. He is a very friendly boy with a lovely temperament, He loves playing with his squeaky toys and enjoys walks. He can live with other sighthounds and older children.

Finally, Pat is a three-year-old ex-racing greyhound looking for a quieter home with a family who are happy to share their sofa!

He is a real softie, according to staff, who loves cuddles and attention. He can live with other sighthounds and older children.

Pat: Hello, my name is Pat and I'm a three and a half year old ex racing Greyhound. I am a real softie who loves cuddles and attention. I would love a quieter home with a family who are happy to share their sofa! I can live with other sighthounds and older children.
