DOGS, cats and even ducks are all looking for forever homes in Dorset.

Billy, a three-year-old greyhound, is just one of the animals currently being cared for by Margaret Green Animal Rescue.

Staff describe him as a “very stunning, large boy” who enjoys nothing more than playtime and running around with his fellow sight hounds.

Charlie and Poppy are looking for a retirement home together. Charlie is an 11-year-old male West Highland terrier and Poppy is a 14-year-old Jack Russell terrier. They are both still active and can live with other dogs and teenage children.

Izzy, an eight-year-old border collie cross, is still “full of beans” and enjoys running around and playing with other dogs. She is looking for a family that love long walks and can give her lots of cuddles too.

Polo is around five years old. She is described as a “sweet” cat who “loves fuss” and has been known to sit on laps. She is looking for her own forever home as, until recently, she has been a stray.

Erin is a “very sweet” 21-week-old kitten. She would prefer to be an only cat but might get on with a friendly dog and quiet children.

Finally, Hendrix, a five-year-old duck, is looking for a forever home with his companion Danni. They are a bonded pair and are preferably looking to be rehomed with more females.
